WYLDLIFE

In WyldLife, we love junior high kids! They are full of life and yet experiencing profound emotional and physical changes.

The philosophy of WyldLife is the same as Young Life's has always been — introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them to grow in their faith. But, because junior high kids are at a different developmental stage than high schoolers and need different things, we make a subtle delineation between the two.

Junior high is a time when kids make important decisions about who they are and what they believe. And so WyldLife leaders — who range from spiritually mature high school and college students to moms, dads and retirees — consider it a privilege to be involved in their lives. We seek to model and express God's love to our young friends by learning their names, hearing their stories and honoring their God-given desire for a life of fun, adventure and purpose.

PARENT INVOLVMENT

In WyldLife, adults and parents usually play a more prominent role in the kids' lives and in their decisions. There are several ways parents can get involved in WyldLife in our area and we need your help! WyldLife Team Parents can pray for our ministry, lead and shepherd a team of WyldLife leaders, host parent informational meetings, promote WyldLife with adults in the community, provide food for WyldLife Clubs, etc. When parents are part of the WyldLife team, the ministry succeeds. Contact us for more information on how to get involved!
